Referee duties within GPSA are divided into two primary functions. Cynthia Sohn serves as Director of Referees and as Referee Assignor. As the Director of Referees, responsibilities cover referee oversight, rules compliance, referee evaluations and continued education. As Referee Assignor, the responsibilities include game assignments, scheduling and referee certification. The goal of GPSA’s referee supervision is to provide high quality and decisive officiating to GPSA’s Travel, Metro and House League programs. Cynthia Sohn's contact information is listed below. For Grade 9 Referees:
Grade 9 referees have the option of either re-certifying or bridging to the Grade 8 Level. You can Bridge if you meet the criteria (age, ref tenure, etc). If you choose to re-certify, please click on the links below for information on upcoming classes and guidelines.

It is very important that all referees continue to keep your referee certification updated annually in order to be eligible to continue officiating within GPSA. Most certification and re-certification classes occurs from December through February time frame.
